The Federation strengthens the bonds within our community and unifies the community around a Jewish identity today and for future generations.
 

The Federation supports a wealth of programs that strengthen Jewish identity and ensure Jewish continuity. In giving to your Jewish Federation, you support the values and traditions that have built the Jewish community. By donating now to the Federation, you are taking a leadership role in our social, educational, and cultural programs and activities and so much more in this community.

AmazonSmile

AmazonSmile is a way that you can help the Jewish Federation simply by doing your regular shopping. The difference is that when you shop on AmazonSmile, the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate a percentage of the purchase price of eligible products to the Jewish Federation. It's an additional way to help that costs you nothing, and gives us a little bit extra.

Appreciated Securities

Giving appreciated securities is a tax-wise way for you to pay your pledges to Federation. For securities held longer than one year, you can deduct the full fair market value of the stock, regardless of the purchase price AND avoid paying capital gains tax.

EITC

Tax credits are awardedto eligible businesses contributing to a Scholarship Organization, an Educational Improvement Organization, and/or a Pre-Kindergarten Scholarship Organization. Find out more...

Giving Societies

The Jewish Federation offers variety of opportunities for donors who dedicate substantial philanthropic resources to Federation campaigns to take part in distinctive events in our community and along with peers from across the continent who share their passion for doing good.

Haverim Society

Harrisburg Haverim is an initiative to engage former Harrisburg residents who are committed to ensuring the continuity of the Harrisburg Jewish community. Through membership in this society, you can make a difference by supporting and voting on grants benefiting Jewish organizations in Greater Harrisburg.

Honor/Memorial

Celebrate a significant occasion, remember a loved one, commemorate a milestone or honor someone special by making a tribute/memorial gift in her/his name.

Legacy Hall

Our Legacy Hall provides away to demonstrate your everlasting love and respect for another by honoring that person on our wall, which proudly holds portraits of some of our community leaders, present and past.

PJ Library
